ASMC Calendar

Friday, February 28, from 1PM to 3PM-Jo Guscott at the Middletown Arts Center 


During this two-hour workshop participants will complete a basic mono print linocut. Each participant will be given a cutting tool and a block and will learn the basics of carving along with the safety precautions of working with a sharp implement. Everyone should come with a basic pencil drawing on a 4x6 inch white paper or at least some idea of a design they would like to try. The design will be transferred to the block, carved, inked and printed. We will do about four of these prints on quality printing paper.
Fee for this workshop is $25 and includes all materials. Please RSVP as seating is limited.
